The "One cell sound" project is based on revealing the invisible inner life of water. Using a microscope and openCV-based software, the movement of unicellular organisms is transformed into relatively low frequencies that give the amorphous water a new shape, depending on its inner life.

The project uses mono-frequency laser light aimed at an ice cube. The surface of the cube melts and this process is visible in the huge refractions of light on the surrounding surfaces. The movement is slow and visually fascinating. The whole process is analog, although it strongly resembles digital generic fractal patterns. In the present tense, the viewer can experience the melting of the ice, which takes place seemingly only somewhere at the poles.
